The reasons for its application are abundance, and it relates dominantly to the change of the environment and limited organization resources. The utilization of risk management is evidenced in the private organization. Even thought, there are stimuli or regulations in applying risk management in public sector, the evidence has not yet existed in Indonesian public organization. The paper attempts to introduce the application of risk management in public organization with the focus on the agencies under Ministry of Finance. Concept and process of risk management in the public organization are shown including its relation with internal control.
